College students and young 20 - 30-somethings are rapidly adapting to social networking on the Internet through MySpace.com and other online communities. Searching for friends and companions online has never been simpler, and in a few clicks we can find new acquaintances with similar interests all over the Internet.

Webshots has just announced a new social networking site, CollegeLive, which will compete with Facebook.com and MySpace.com for the hearts and minds of the .edu segment. The site has its roots in photo-sharing and filing, but will organize their extensive following into "individual communities".
